About Speed Booster Toolkit
Speed Booster Toolkit is a browser extension for people who use ChatGPT a lot. It keeps long chats quick, sorts chats into folders, deletes or exports many at once, finds any word in a long chat, and saves chats as PDF or Markdown. More than 50,000 people use it on Chrome and Firefox.
It’s made by one independent developer, start to finish: the code, the testing, this website and the replies to your email.
Small on purpose
There’s no company behind the toolkit and no support team. That turns out to be a strength. When you email, the person who reads it is the person who can fix it, and a good idea can be in the next update rather than on a roadmap for next year.
It also means updates come quickly. ChatGPT changes its website often, and every change can break an extension that works inside it. Between September 11 and October 15, 2026 the toolkit had nine updates, most of them answers to something ChatGPT had changed, a few of them things people asked for.
How it started
It began as Speed Booster for ChatGPT, built for one problem: long ChatGPT chats that made the browser crawl. Typing lagged, scrolling stuttered, and the only advice going was to start a new chat and lose the context.
People who used it asked for more, and it grew into a toolkit. Version 3 added export to PDF and Markdown. Version 4 came when ChatGPT began loading long chats a page at a time: it brought search inside a chat, a list of every message to jump through, and a way to load a whole chat at once. Version 5.0 brought folders, message bookmarks and actions on many chats at once. Everything that changed, version by version.
What it does with your chats: nothing
The toolkit runs in your browser, on your computer. Your conversations are never sent to us, and we have no way to read them. There’s no account to make and no ads.
The one thing that leaves your computer is folder sync, so your folders and bookmarks can follow you to your other browsers. It’s encrypted on your device before it’s sent, and no chat titles are sent at all. The privacy policy has the details, in plain words.
How it’s paid for
By people who choose Pro. It costs $7.99 once, with no subscription, and it lifts the limits on folders, bookmarks, exports and loading whole chats. Every new install gets 7 days of Pro to try first.
The free version stays genuinely useful, with no time limit: faster long chats, search inside a chat, the message list and bulk delete have no cap at all. And if you’d rather tell people about it than pay, post about it and Pro is yours for free.
